Is my bank data safe?
Yes. Your bank statement is read directly in your browser — like opening it in Excel. It never leaves your device and we never store it. There's nothing to hack and nothing to leak.
Do you connect to my bank?
No. We never ask for your bank login or password — ever. You simply download a file from your bank and upload it here. We never touch your bank account directly.
What happens to my data after I use SubCut?
Nothing — because we never receive it. Your data is read in your browser only. When you close the tab, it's gone. We keep no record of it whatsoever.
Is SubCut regulated?
SubCut is not a financial services provider and doesn't require FCA regulation — because we never access your bank account, hold your money, or make payments on your behalf. We simply read a file you give us, locally in your browser, and show you the results. There's nothing to regulate.
Could someone hack my data through SubCut?
No — and here's why: we never receive your data in the first place. Hackers can only steal data that exists on a server. Because your bank statement is read entirely inside your browser and never sent to us, there is nothing on our servers to hack. Your data stays on your device and disappears when you close the tab.
Is SubCut free?
Yes, completely free to use. Finding your subscriptions and getting step-by-step cancellation help costs nothing.

How do I get a CSV file from my bank?
Log into your bank app or website, look for "Statements", "Export" or "Download", and choose CSV format. Most banks support this. If you need help, contact your bank directly.
What if I don't recognise a subscription on my list?
Sometimes companies charge under a different name. Check your bank statement for the company name or amount, then Google it — you'll usually find the service quickly.
Does SubCut cancel subscriptions for me?
No — SubCut guides you through cancelling yourself. We give you the exact steps and direct links to the cancellation pages. You stay in full control.
Can I cancel any subscription with SubCut?
